The Residence

Dedicated to an ancient hero of the past, reminiscent of the age-old origins of Tuscany, but in the name of a young and modern challenge, a new tourist facility was opened on May 28th 2004 in Pistoia: the "Torre di Catilina" Residence.

Located upon a hill, surrounded by luscious expanses of maritime pines and olive trees, the residence boasts a wonderful panorama. It is only two kilometers away from the town of Pistoia and thanks to the motorway junction one can easily reach several towns all over Tuscany which are well-known for their art and beauty. The "Torre di Catilina" Residence is made up of 24 apartments, divided into four different types. It also has a wide terrace and a fully equipped swimming pool.

The resort is located within an area under the supervision of local authorities in relation to the protection of the environment. However, the whole structure has been recently built and is equipped with high-standard facilities to ensure a top-quality and extremely pleasant stay for all our guests:

· swimming pool with an area of over 200 sq. m. with depth varying between 70 and 140 cm.

An itinerary through Pistoia's historical testimonies must undoubtedly start from the Cathedral's square 'Piazza del Duomo', which, as well as being the heart of the ancient town, is also one of the most stirring urban settings in Tuscany.

During the 14th century, the area in front of the church, site of an older religious building, was chosen to construct the octagonal Baptistery, characterized by a typical covering layer of white and green marble coming from Prato arranged in horizontal stripes.

The apartments
Type 3 - 3 one-room apartments of around 56 sq. m. with loft, sleeping 2 people on the lower level and provided with a further double bed on the loft;
Type 4 - 12 two-room apartments of about 55 sq. m. made up of a sitting room and a double bedroom sleeping a total of 4 people.

Our wide swimming pool (with an area of over 200 sq. m. and provided with beach umbrellas and deck-chairs) is located right at the core of "Torre di Catilina", so that it can be easily reached from each of the apartments.
